IMMERSIVE INSTALLATION

Peace. Rest. Holiness. Is an exploration of three large ideas that many humans across the world wrestle with daily. What does it mean to be at peace? How can one find rest in a world that never seems to stop moving? This installation aims to invite the witness into an experience of deep reflection on their life. To give them space to recall, reassess and reimagine the role these ideas play in their life. This is not a performance, it is an unearthing.

Bishop (WIP)

Bishop is a young black man who suffers from extreme social anxiety and often finds himself in undesirable situations due to the fact that he is unable advocate for himself. This film follows Bishop on his journey to self discovery. We see him make new friends, many mistakes, and eventually learn the lessons he needs to too finally move int the next chapter of his adult life.

The scope of this movement installation is to explore the experience of exhaustion on the body. Utilizing monitors showing pre recorded footage, murals and live performance, the audience is immersed into the world of an artist who cant seem to finish their latest work.

Rushes '22

This performance of Michael Gordon’s Rushes for seven bassoons is a multimedia event consisting of musicians, dancers, sculptors, and videographers. This one-hour showcase explores the notion of waiting. While the audience's ears are entranced by the sound, they will see a spectacle of dancers being born from a red teepee structure. This interactive performance aims to evoke the sense of waiting for both the audience and the performers.

The COME BACK '22

Taking place somewhere between a living room and a cabaret, The Come Back follows the journey of a charismatic and seemingly omnipotent Host who leads the audience through an artistic expedition of this central character’s own design. As we charge faster and faster into a chaotic unknown, the ensemble takes agency and the Host’s struggles to maintain control.
